Dr. Merfeld is a Rochester-based general dentist and practices at Rochester Dental Clinic. Dr. Merfeld is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and has earned the distinction of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). He is a member of the American Society of Forensic Dentistry and is in the process of obtaining a Board Certification in Forensic Odontology from Lincoln Memorial University. Currently Dr. Merfeld serves as a consultant to the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, where he assists with dental identifications and bitemark analysis.

Dr. Merfeld will be lecturing on an overview of Forensic Odontology and related topics. The meeting will be held at The Purple Goat and will begin at 5:30 PM.
