Cracks and Caries - A Biomimetic Approach to Daily Dentistry

Have you ever wondered why some dental restorations display post-operative sensitivity? Do you struggle with how to manage cracked teeth, both symptomatic and asymptomatic? Have you ever questioned when you should stop excavating caries? In this presentation we will explore biomimetic restorative techniques to treat dental caries and cracks in a predictable manner. Attendees will leave with techniques that they can employ immediately in there practice including:

- establishing objective caries-removal endpoints
- techniques for crack dissection
- immediate dentin sealing
- utilizing advanced adhesive techniques to bond restorations without traditional retention and resistance form
